I’m always on the lookout for new kosher options in Chicago and was so excited to meet Faith, who’s been in catering for over 20 years and just opened her own kosher catering company. I attended the Keep the Faith Kosher Catering Open House and got to taste her food for myself. It was delicious! (And for a vegetarian to enjoy kosher meat catering you know it has to be good!)

Faith has been in the catering business for over 20 years, and she’s bringing that wealth of experience to her own kosher catering company in Chicago. After working at the Midwest Conference Center and Circle Chicago, Faith decided to strike out on her own, driven by a desire for creative freedom and a passion for crafting memorable events.

“I’ve catered at a lot of crazy places,” Faith shares. “I have a lot of contacts and good ideas for interesting venues that people might not think of to really make their event special.”

This expertise extends beyond just food preparation. Faith can offer creative solutions for everything from valet parking gifts to unique ways of differentiating fundraisers and organizational events.

A Passion for the Unexpected

Faith’s enthusiasm for her work is evident as she describes some of her favorite catering concepts:

• Using giant lazy Susans for family-style dining
• Incorporating fun serving methods, like mashed potatoes in Asian spoons with gravy and fried onions

“I’m just waiting for somebody to sort of open my creativity box and see where we can go with it,” Faith says excitedly.

As events begin to ramp up post-COVID, Faith is eager to showcase her skills and creativity. She’s particularly interested in working with couples who want something different from the standard wedding package.

“If somebody wants to get married in a barn or downtown because that’s what they always dreamed of, then call me up,” Faith says. “I can do that for sure.”
